Is ignorance really bliss?

Everyday, we go through routines of showering, eating, and making ourselves attractive with a variety of consumables. The ingredients listed on the packaging and bottles.. do we really know what they are? From baby products, and hygiene products to pre-prepared foods, all the ingredients broken down into simplified terms and a list of the side effects associated with some of those ingredients. When it comes to what we put in our loved ones ignorance is not bliss.
